The Way We Eat

We have to change the way we eat.  The world is dying.  Not of a plague, not of influenza, not of Ebola, not of AIDS.  Metabolic syndrome (heart disease, diabetes, cancer, dementia) is a greater threat to the developed and developing world than infectious disease.  Currently there are 30 percent more obese than undernourished people on the planet.  80 percent of deaths from heart disease and other noncommunicable diseases occur in low and middle income countries.
